Nicole’s Story

Nicole Russell is a Melbourne-based lawyer with over 20 years’ experience.

In her earlier legal career, Nicole practiced as a senior commercial litigation and insolvency lawyer at some of Australia’s top law firms and as legal counsel for one of Australia’s largest financial institutions.

In response to her own fertility challenges and the growing demand for surrogacy and fertility legal services, Nicole founded Russell Walker Lawyers to assist Australians wishing to start or grow their families.

In 2016, Nicole and her husband experienced the surrogacy process first-hand as intended parents in an Australian surrogacy arrangement.  Nicole has channeled her own personal experience into a professional passion to assist others.
